Beginning in 1831, the Children of Peace welcomed people to a celebration on the first Friday in September. They lit all of the candles in the Temple, held a concert, and celebrated the harvest. Join us for Illumination: An Evening of Music, the 192nd installment of this time-honoured tradition at the Sharon Temple on Friday, September 6th, 2024.

Enjoy an outdoor concert by Glenn Marais, an old-fashioned pig roast dinner on the grounds, and an extraordinary musical experience inside the Temple as it is illuminated by Vivace, a talented group of six singers from York Region who perform a wide variety of styles, including jazz, pop and traditional folk arrangements.
